Rate Limiting

Policy

• An edge traffic guard enforces rate limits before requests reach the application.
• Default allowance: 2,500 requests per 5-minute window per source IP address (roughly 500 sustained requests per minute).
• When the ceiling is exceeded the platform responds with HTTP 403 Forbidden and a minimal body without additional rate-limit headers.
• If you need a higher allowance, coordinate with the MIRI team so the edge configuration can be adjusted for your integration.
